FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)

HOW LONG IS THE AVERAGE STAY?
In most cases a stay of 30-60 days is typical in a sober-living, structured environment. 12-Step recovery programs and daily meetings are a primary focus during this time. You will also meet individually with a Medical Doctor and trained, certified counselors.

HOW LONG IS THE ACTUAL "DETOX" PROCESS?
The actual detox process can often be accomplished in 7-10 days. This is only the initial "first step" of getting the active abuser withdrawn from daily use. Many will choose to stay longer (30-60 days) to treat the deeper causes of abuse.

WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY MEAN BY "PAINLESS" DETOX?
Our doctors prescribe the most effective drugs available to combat the discomfort associated with symptoms of withdrawal. These include drugs such as Subutex & Suboxone - first new medications to be introduced specifically for opiate addiction in nearly 30 years.

CAN I USE MY CELULAR PHONE AND STAY IN TOUCH WITH MY BUSINESS?
Each treatment program is customized for your needs - in most cases we offer remote offices (with telephone, fax and internet access) so you can keep in touch with business associates or loved ones.

CAN I LEAVE THE FACILITY OR TAKE DAYS OFF DURING THE RECOVERY PROCESS?
Again, each treatment program is customized for your needs. In many cases "weekend passes" are part of your schedule.
